These were just my quick three picks from my time at the SilencerCo Batcave, but there’s certainly plenty of others I’d love to meter. Both the MP7 and ACR (both short-stroke piston operated) had very low port noise and metered incredibly well. While the MP5SD certainly could have been quieter with subsonic ammunition, it was interesting to see that its port noise (or noise at right ear) was actually louder than the MP7’s. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by each of these hosts and the numbers they put up at the meter.
